Plano Especular, el plano de los reflejos, es una web cuyo único fin es educar la mirada de los que pudieran perderse en ella o utilizarla como un acercamiento al patrimonio visual enmarcado en uno de los temas más universales: el cuerpo humano. Es indudable que la silueta del cuerpo humano ha sido siempre un referente necesario para construir la humanidad y ahora, más que nunca, es necesario reconstruir, en parte, las distintas formas de acercarnos a ella desde un lenguaje tan próximo y sincero como es el de la fotografía. La mirada curiosa, e ingenua a veces, sobre la piel que nos identifica convierte cualquier representación humana en un espejo de nosotros mismos; un juego de resonancias que se inicia, en definitiva, cuando miramos detenidamente otro cuerpo.
La fotografía desde sus inicios ha repensado y descrito nuestro cuerpo, lo ha recorrido escudriñando cada pliegue, torsión y gesto. Este proyecto vivo que es 'Plano Especular', significa reconocer y aprender el arte; en definitiva, educar en y desde un tipo de fotografía que no siempre ha gozado de suficiente atención y respeto en su tratamiento. Por eso hemos apostado por crear este pequeño apéndice-web que irá creciendo y que recoge nuestro deseo de hacer visibles y reconocibles a sus autores, desde la sinceridad de sus procesos artísticos, sin censura, y mostrando la mejor documentación visual que podemos encontrar en la red, atentos siempre de ofrecer aquella información complementaria donde ampliar nuestro conocimiento.

Specular plane, the plane of reflections, is a website whose sole purpose is to educate the gaze of those who might get lost in it or use it as an approach to visual heritage framed in one of the most universal themes: the human body. Since its inception, photography has rethought and described our body, it has gone through it scrutinizing every fold, twist and gesture. This living project that is 'Specular Plane', means recognizing and learning art; in short, to educate in and from a type of photography that has not always enjoyed sufficient attention and respect in its treatment. That is why we have opted to create this small sub-website that will grow and that reflects our desire to make its authors visible and recognizable, from the sincerity of their artistic processes, without censorship, and showing the best visual documentation that we can find on the internet. network, always attentive to offer that complementary information where we can expand our knowledge.
